web art theory revistited
my initial thoughts on web art was that it was a.) accessible to anyone, anytime. and b.) interactive. I still feel the same way in a sense. Perhaps interactivity isn’t essential to web art, but it seems like considering how open the web is to interactivity, artists would be selling the medium short by not making their pieces interactive. Plus, without interactivity, the piece would exist...
